Having overcome bullying in elementary school, she now uses her platform to spread messages of kindness, faith, and self-confidence. Her upcoming single āPOSE,ā releasing March 20, is a bold celebration of individuality and owning your walk. Mandy Corrente Interview for Stardom Kids Magazine SM- What was the reason and vision behind the creation of your brand? My brand was created to make girls feel like they belong. I went through bullying and learned that not everyone has to like you ā but you have to like yourself. My vision is to create a world where being different is celebrated and confidence is normal. Mandyās world is a place where everyone is welcome.
SM- Who do you credit as the person(s) who inspired and motivated you to pursue your passion at a young age? My family inspires me the most. My faith, my great-grandfatherās dream of seeing me fill stadiums, and the artists I watched in concerts when I was younger all motivated me to believe I could do this too. My producers also and all my coaches from vocal to acting that have help me be better every day.
SM- Tell us about one major goal or award who hope to accomplish in the early stages of your career? One major goal of mine is to perform in huge concerts ā even before Iām 16. I dream about filling big venues and having thousands of people doing the chore-ography to my songs. That would mean everything to me.
SM- What are you currently promoting now? Iām currently promoting my new single āPOSE,ā releasing March 20. Itās a confi-dence anthem about embracing who you are, even when you feel different. Itās upbeat, energetic, and made for dancing. It reminds everyone that āthe same is not the planā ā you get to write your own story.
SM- Was there anyone who helped connect you to the right people or sources to get started in the right direction with this project? Iām very grateful for my family and my team who help guide me and support my vision. I wouldnāt be able to do this without them believing in me and helping bring the music to life. Miami Florid
SM- What is the single most important message you want people to take away from this drop? Confidence is a choice. You might feel too short, too shy, too different ā but you donāt have to let that define you. When you step out, step out like all eyes are on you ā because your story matters.
SM- How do you balance your career, education and childhood with family and friends? It can be challenging, especially being in school while chasing big dreams, but I always remind myself that Iām still a kid. I spend time with my friends, I talk to my sister when I feel insecure, and I pray before big moments. My family keeps me grounded, and that balance helps me stay happy while growing in music.
SM- What impact do you believe you can make on the world at this youthful age? At 12 years old, I believe I can help other kids feel confident in who they are. A lot of girls feel like they donāt fit in ā like theyāre ātoo muchā or ānot enough.ā Through my music, especially with my new single POSE, I want to show them that being different is powerful. You donāt have to change yourself to shine. You can pose exactly as you are.
SM- Do you have any events your involved in coming up that excites you? Yes! Iām very excited about performing POSE live after its release on March 20. Performing is when I feel most like myself, and I canāt wait to teach everyone the āPose, Walk, Turn, Faceā moves on stage. Seeing fans dance with me is always the best feeling.
SM- Looking ahead, are there any new products, collaborations or ventures in the future we can be on the lookout for? Right now, Iām focused on releasing POSE on March 20 and building the move-ment around it. Weāre planning dance content, fan challenges, and live perfor-mances. Iām also continuing to create new music ā I want to keep telling stories that make people feel happy, confident, and energized.
SM- What is one final thought you want to leave people with who read your article? No two walks are the same. Weāre all beautiful. Weāre all famous in our own way. Donāt shrink yourself to fit in ā own your walk. For
